Hi evan631,

The definitions are below:

RMAT - Remote Access Terminal - This is used for Engineers to dial into a specific PBX or for the collection of SMDR, which is stored on the Tracker.

PLID - Physycal Line Identity - This series of 4 numbers is the location of extensions on the PBX.

I hope this helps

Thanks Mitel100

When it come to PLID...why would only a handfull of phones have this notation?  Could you tell me what the numbers signify?

PLIDs only apply to prime lines, ONS ports and trunk ports.

Example PLID   5-1-1-2
1st number: Cabinet
2nd number: shelf
3rd number: card
4th number: circuit
You may also see a 5th number: sub circ.

You can stat a plid by typing: stat 5-1-1-2

As for RMATS - can also stand for Remote Maintenace And Testing Services.
That is actually my job title: RMATS Manager.  I run our remote services center.  Mitel, Nortel, Juniper, Telrad.
