Title: Plantronics CS50 wireless headset and 5330 phone
Post by: jherlitz on March 08, 2012, 05:00:44 PM
I purchased a plantronics CS50 wireless headset and plugged it into the 5330 model phone (http://www.mitelforums.com/store/mitel-5330.php).  Now it works, but you still have to lift the handset to get to hear dial tone or answer a call.

Is there a way to get it so if she is a few feet away and the phone rings, she can just hit the button and it answers?  From past experience on the cisco side, I was able to do that.  Haven't figured it out on the Mitel side yet.

Any advice?  is the only way is to get the handset lifter?

On a Mitel phone, you'll require a handset raiser.

As Bluewhite4 pointed out with a Plantronics headset you need a lifter.
Plantronics sells this as an add on.

If you don't want the lifter then you'll need to purchase the Mitel DECT headset.
These work great for that application.
