Title: Mitel Unified Communicator Advanced Mobile for Android

Anyone tried this new app (UCA for Android)?

What are the requirements on UC server side?
What ports need to be open?

You should have an MBG that's doing Web Proxy for our UCA Android/Blackberry devices.

Post by: Kurt on June 20, 2011, 12:02:25 PM: I haven't had a huge amount of time to play with this app, but I just setup a demo for one of our Sales People to demo this for a customer. It worked really well and was actually pretty useful and neat tool.

The Sales Person was really excited about it after the demo, saying that the customer was very responsive to the Android app.

How should one configure the web proxy in order to get the full UCA Android experience?

Yeah, we have MBG.
I'm not really sure where to look for that list of ports, would love some help here.

Looks like 36008 is the port I'm interested in - I confirmed this by looking at the logs of our firewall, the Android app is definitely trying to get real-time notifications on that port (also, the port is mentioned in the app's settings).

So I tried forwarding the port on the MBG to the MAS on our LAN. Didn't help.
Oh, and our firewall doesn't block traffic on that port either.

Is there something else in the MBG I need to enable in order to make real-time notifications (like the chat) work on my Android device? Or some other setting(s) I need to tweak?
