Hi everybody
I set an static ip adress on the mitel 5312 ip
The ping test works perfectly. But the phone stills looking for dhcp server.
Could you help me to disabled the dhcp discovery on one phone please.

If you set a static IP address to the phone, then you can also consider setting the following options as static within the phone menu:
ICP address
Subnet Mask
TFTP address
Gateway address
Hope this helps.

I guess we should probably define what you mean by "set a static IP".
What exactly did you do?

When i said i set an static ip adress i mean that i push the button # on the mitel 5312 then go to the menu network parameters
-> modify static values -> yes -> i set the phone ip adress -> default gateway ip -> subnet mask -> icp ip adress and that's all.
The ping test works perfectly. i save the configuration and i restart the phone. When the phone restart it looks for dhcp discovery several times then it restart and do the same thing.
thanks by advance

Try holding the '9' when booting the phone. See if that make a difference.

As stated make sure you set all options ip, subnet, gateway, and tftp. There are many ways to get to the menu.
1. Hold up and down arrow.
2. Release down arrow.
3. Press 2, 3, 4.
4. Release up arrow.
