Title: Clear "Call Back" on a 5304....

How do you clear a call back message on a 5304? The message light indicator is flashing and we aren't sure how to clear it (http://www.mitelforums.com/articles/vm-light-flashing.php) since it's a 5304 wall mounted phone with no display like a 5312 or 5330. Thanks.

One of the first things I allways try is to:
From the phone dial the <Message Waiting on code> + <it's own extn>
then dial the <Message Waiting off code> + <it's own extn>

Seems to clear this a lot of times.

Thanks. I did *57 (extension)   - Turned it off for now.  I did try to turning it back on, but it's still flashing.

I'm not sure I understand - you "Turned it off for now"  but "it's still flashing"?

Did that fix the problem or no?

I tried turning it off and then back on (to see if that would clear it out), but the light still flashes. So since the user does not have voicemail on his account, I just turned the feature off.

That FAC will turn the light on and off, not enable/disable the feature.
