Hi all, we have a tip line that is monitored during the day. We want to hide the incoming Caller ID number, so it doesn't appear on the display. This will preserve anonymity for anyone calling the phone.
Is this possible?
Thank you,
Scott

What type of phone is it?
Have you considered using an analog port and getting a single line analog phone with no display at all?
Actually there are single line IP phones like that too.

Is that simply having a COS for that fone with all the caller display items set to NO for trunk calls?

I went into the COS and set the Display ANI/DNIS settings to No, I don't see the originating number, but I still see originating caller name.
I looked at Trunk settings, all I see that are set to Yes are Public Network Access via DPNSS and Trunk Calling Party Identification.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Scott
