Title: Call Forward External to Cell Phones
Post by: brogerson on August 22, 2017, 11:17:40 AM
Have a bunch of users that call forward their phones to Cell Phones,  cells are with Different Vendors as well.

Just switched to Bell SIP trunks and now have some users that have forwarded calls going straight to the Cell phones Voicemail.

Ie,  Caller calls DID,   extension is forwarded to Rogers Cell,  Caller hears Dead air then gets connected to Cells Vmail.   The call should ring the cell and go to mail on a no answer.  The Cell phone Never Rings.

All sets have the same COS in the Mitel,  One user with a rogers phone works and another user does not. One user with a Fido phone works and another user does not.

Mitel and Bells sip techs are telling me it looks to be a problem with the cell vendor.  The problem is everything worked fine with Allstream SIP Trunks

Out of interest one this one, you might have already done this, but have you checked the SMDR output of the switch to make sure it's not adding any random digits in your outgoing calls.

I wonder if there might be a Digit mod plan that might be coming into effect when your dialling certain numbers, is there anything in your ARS routes that send cell calls in different directions?
