Good day,
The power went out last night for about 4 or 5 hours and just longer than our UPS could sustain. All our servers shutdown including the Mitel 5000hx.
Everything else powered up fine except the mitel 5000hx. It appears to be stuck in a perpetual boot loop where it stops and starts the same services over and over again.
I removed the SD card, same issue. I've got the SD card out now. Is it even required?
After a power outage, any idea what would cause this? Any way to fix?
Thanks

Ok. Without the SD card it is stuck in "preboot".
So I suppose I need the SD card then?

If you are talking about the compact flash card, yes it is required
-
Ok. So any idea's what might be up and why its stuck in the boot loop?
-
My guess would be a corrupted compact flash

I just borrowed someones Mitel 5000hx and swapped all my components across...no go. So if its the compact flash, then what? Can it be repaired with some sort of utility or do I have to wipe it and reload the last good config?

Anyone? Our phones don't work and this sucks big time!!!

I think you have to get a new one from Mitel, change the app record to reflect the new card, get new license file and restore from backup.

^^ JohnP is absolutely correct ^^

This is more than likely the compact flash card by the sounds of it, however I have seen a couple of times, the USB cable to a UPS causing boot up issues. Disconnect the USB cable to the UPS and it will boot up fine, then reconnect it.
