MiVB 8.0 Caller ID number instead of name display
« on: June 30, 2017, 11:37:22 AM »
Have a customer who is complaining about their CLID displaying the name when their phone is ringing instead of the number. How can I reverse the order of the display?

For internal or external calls? For External I was told it's determined by the carrier. For internal I'm not sure how one would do that for a single person. You could always have the directory not display a name but that would be for everyone.

COS settings; I think you can tell the system to ignore names and just deliver the number. Can't remember the option but I think its something to do with ANSI delivery and does not apply to analog lines.
