How to add multiple phones to same user in MiVoice 5000
« on: June 09, 2017, 07:17:34 AM »
I want to add multiple phones(3 or 2) under same user like we can do in mitel 3300.

ex:-
user1
sip phone1 70001
sip phone2 80001
sip phone3 90001

Actually i want to do user provisioning of MiVoice 5000 with micollab(integrated mode) with user distribution(premium-3phones, standard-3phones and entry-2phones)

You can't use MiCollab in integrated mode with the 5000... The 5000 and MiCollab don't, and never will, work that way. MiCollab with the 5000 was a crutch from the beginning which is why it's being depreciated in favor of MiVoice Office Application Suite (was Phone Manager) and it makes sense.

What you want to do is easy to provision within the 5000 though, either use dynamic extension or a hunt group, although each device still requires a license as the MiCollab and the 5000 does not support UCC licensing.

Just wanting to confirm the OP.

Are you talking MiVoice 5000? (Previously Aastra)
or
MiVoice Office 250 (Previously Mitel 5000)
