I am using a mitel MXEIII controller with software version 7.2. I noticed that some Teledex SIP phones are showing "Out of Service" while they are functioning. I mean you can call them and get calls from them. But in the All IP Phones Inventory they are showing Out of Service even you refresh data.

Can some one help to fix this issue, please?

I am using two MXEIII controllers for resiliency. I've noticed this the first time while testing the resiliency (half of SIP phones where Out of Service) while you can communicate with them on each controller.

In the attached example the extensions (2901 and 2912 etc...) are perfectly reachable.

It looks that that I'm not the only person experiencing this kind of problem that I have not been able to fully resolve yet. Do you have resiliency configured on the phone?

Yes Resiliency is configured on the phone. It connects on primary, and during the test it connected on the secondary both on both case it stayed Out of service while working.

Try to run the SIP REGISTRAR CONTACTS ALL command (don't rely on the All IP Telephony form that is not showing always up to date info). Especially search for the primary and the backup line DN if they are present and what their registration status is.

Sure. First of all thanks for the command. It helped me to see an accurate status.

You can find attached one of my sip phone config file.

What are you using as DHCP server for your SIP phones?

Finally we ended up setting static IP addresses to all the phones becasue finding the current phone's IP address was nightmare.

OK. On my end I am using a cisco L3 WS-C3850 swich as the DHCP server. I was suspecting it a little, but now not.

Did you find somthing wrong in my config file?

What firmware are your phones on? We are using 1.8.6-1249 that also according to Cetis the latest (and maybe the final version).

I will compare the file with what we are using and let you know.
