Mute UC360 Ringer
« on: April 10, 2017, 02:25:06 PM »
The subject about sums it up. I have a couple of 360's on really low volume, but is there a setting completely mute the ringer for incoming calls?

Hi ZuluAlpha,
I poked around a bit and couldn't find a "User" setting in which to mute the ringer. I even looked through the guides a bit to see if you could invoke the DND Feature Access Code, and nope, you cannot. (Though I would think being SIP, the device itself would be the one to say it is on DND) Surprisingly, I never had this question come up.

Thanks,
-Iron

I'm assuming you want to mute the ringer only during certain times.
Did you happen to try a "Remote DND" from another phone?

The user has a desk phone and UC360 Conference Phone so I may look in to the DND route via speedcalls on the phone. Thanks for the idea!

If both devices are in a personal ring group, just set the UC360 as absent in the PRG and it won't ring.
