Call transfer with the Console PC

Dear All,

I am using Mitel MiVoice MXe 3300 ICP controller. I have a call transfer concern.

1) If I transfer a call from outside to one of my extension there is a silence after the transfer till the correspondent picks the call up or bounce back to the console.

During the silence I do not know whether the call transfer is on progress or not working.

2) If a call is put on hold on the console is there any mean to collect it back before the end of the hold period and bounce back to the operator? Some times you can get free and wait for a call to bounce back to you, is it possible to pick it up from the hold and treat it faster?

can you help?

You should have a MOH source connected or File based MOH configured.

Are you placing the LDN on hold? It should just show in the status screen on the PC, just double click the call to retrieve it.
