Can't find where to delete number
« on: November 23, 2016, 11:30:52 AM »
I am trying to create a new user (agent). Our users sync with Active Directory.

When i try and save the new user in Manage Detained Entries I get an error saying the The directory number already exists.

I cant find any trace of the user or number in MiVoice Business. When I do a locate number in maintenance commands. It says the number refers to a Superset 5020 IP.

Can anyone please advice how I can find where to remove 7*562 from?

Thanks

The system told you. It's a multiline IP set.

Because the set is a 5020 that would suggest to me that it's assigned to something like voice mail.
What do you get when you call it?

I would try to search in the "Multiline IP Sets" form for that device.

Guys thanks for you replies.  It was in the Mulitline IP sets.

Apologies if this was a stupid question. I have been handed a Mitel system to maintain with no experience!   :o

I hope you confirmed the previously assigned set was not actually in use for something before you deleted it. Normally 5020 is the set type assigned to voice mail ports. Please get some training before getting too deep into the system, if you don't know what you're doing you can do some serious damage and leave your system in bad shape.

When I try and Delete a Multiline IP Sets i get a message saying 'The selected device is resilient. Please use User and Services Configuration form to delete the device.'
Can someone please advise what to do next to delete the device?

Thanks

You'll need to use the "User and Devices" form.
