mitel console software
« on: January 31, 2017, 12:22:20 PM »
I have the atandant console and software on a cd along with the usb software dongle. In trying to install the CT gateway/Apps and switch transceiver it
keeps telling me that the 827.9129 dongle hasp key is not detected.
When I look in device manager the hasp key shows that it is installed and working.
Help
Thanks

Attendant Console and CT Gateway each have their own dongle. Are you trying to install just Attendant Console?

TYTEL,

I ran into this issue before and it could be one of two issues.

1. You have a bad HASP.
  a. Test it on a known good setup.

2. You need to get Mitel to walk you through uninstalling and reinstalling the correct driver for the HASP. There is a tool that helps with this that they use and I can't remember the name of it.

UPDATE:

I don't think you can load both up on the same PC if that is what you are trying to do.

Thanks,

TE

I have the console up and working what I am trying to get working is the CT gateway/apps & switch transceiver so I can get the console installed on an old intertel Axxess system with 7.0 software.Do I need another Software dongle to turn on the Gateway?I know I need a switch to convert the RS232 port on the Axxess to TCP/IP.Just need to get the phone system connected to computer with the console software.
Thanks

TYTEL,

Just like with anything you would only need the CT Gateway if you have multiple sites that the Attendant Console is suppose to work with or you have too many applications trying to talk to the Axxess/5000 at the same time.

What I am trying to say is that the Attendant Console doesn't require the CT Gateway to talk to the system.

Thanks,

TE

Ok thanks I read that it would take some type of server to convert the out put of the Axxess Cpu to TCP/IP I have a Lantronix UDS 10 which will convert the 232 port TCP/IP port.Does anybody know if the UDS 10 will work to get the Axxess system and the console computer integrated.
Thanks for all the info.
