ACD Path Recordings - how are these configured
« on: December 15, 2016, 10:44:11 PM »
I am trying to reverse engineer how this is setup so I can add some new config:

In my ACD Paths form, I have Recording1: 1001
This seem to correspond with on the VM Ports form: 1:DN 1001
On the VM Greetings form, Port ID 1 configured as RAD Sets 11
On the VM RAD Greeting form RAD Sets 11 has Greeting 1

So,
I make a new ACD path, I gave it Recording1: 1002
On VM Ports 2: DN 1002
On VM Greetings Port ID 2: RAD Set 12
On VM RAD Greetings, RAD Set 12 needs Greeting 2

What do I do to put Greeting2 on the system? Where does it go?

I don't use embedded VM, so I don't have a VM Hunt Group, or any mailboxes. I assume I need to dial into something, but not sure what. I tried dialling into one of the embedded VM ports and press * but that doesn't get me anywhere.

You can upload rad greetings via System Audio Files Update form.

Otherwise you will need to get embedded VM working so you can record a greeting.

You can also record a RAD Set via the integrated admin mailbox.  Assign extensions to the rest of your integrated VM ports (leaving port 2 for the RAD), then put them in a hunt group. Then you can dial in to the hunt group and select the admin mailbox, enter password, then follow prompts.

I'm not sure I'm licensed for integrated VM.
I should give that a go.

In the end it seemed simpler to just create a msgnnn.wav within YSE and dial into that to record it, then copy it off the MiCC and then upload it to the MCD via the System Audio Files Update form.

Now I'm confused about the relationship between the MiCC queue "routing" and the MCD Path settings. They have different options available but even though the call is in the MCD path, it seems to be using the options off the MiCC Queue Routing config.
