Converting ISS to vMCD 'How To' Doc

I'm looking for doc that explains how to convert an ISS server to vMCD.
I've found a this doc: Article # 13-5191-00303 v3   "Procedure to introduce a new vMCD or convert 3300 ICP to vMCD" but haven't found one for converting ISS to vMCD.

Has anyone seen one?
Has anyone done one?  Especially if it was in a DLM environment.

My feeling is that you would be able to backup/restore the ISS to the vMCD. It's the exact same software/OS.

I think the best idea would be to call Mitel tech support just to be sure.

I suspect it not quite that easy.
I applied a VM conversion license to the existing ARID on AMC thinking I could prepare the VM box and do a restore.
As soon as I did that every phone in the cluster said "License Violation" on the display.
The box I applied it to has no phone registered to it.
Tech support was surprised also.   I had to remove the VM conversion license.

It almost appears that I have to purchase a whole new enterprise license software package and create a new ARID for each ISS box I want to migrate.

I'm not on the sales side so I don't mess around much with licensing, but I'm pretty sure there is a part number you can order to convert a 3300/ISS ARID to a vMCD. Once you have the licensing worked out, I think it's just a backup ISS/restore to vMCD.

Yes.
The license PN as far as I can see is 54005366.
But as soon as I apply it on the AMC all phones say "License Violation" before I get a chance to even touch the controllers.
If that's the way it's done, then fine, but I can't get anyone to agree to that.
I can't risk shutting down my customer.
Apparently there isn't a how-to for this in a DLM environment.

Hi Ralph,
     did you finish the migration to virtualized MiVB successfully? I was searching for the newer version of  the Article # 13-5191-00303 v3 but did not find any. We need to virtualize a CX controller and I'm searching for the valid how to steps.
