Emergency Alarm
« on: December 29, 2014, 01:31:06 PM »
I personally think someone fat-fingered this: but  I have a customer who is getting EMERGENCY CALL MADE FROM Extension 112 (always from that extension)

Looking this up, it says they dialed 999 (I thought it was 911?)

Secondly, is there a way to send an alert for this via e-mail?

Thanks.

Check under SYSTEM/DEVICES AND FEATURE CODES/EMERGENCY CALLS, make sure it says 911, not 999.

If you have version 6.X you can provide email addresses under user profiles and then set that profile to receive alarm indication per fault code or type etc. A011 for 911

Run the tutorial in System Admin & Diagnostics 6.X for details.

Yep, no 999, just 911

They're 5.1xx so they would have to update....

So does 911 center call you back or show up at their door, which would indicate call was actually made?

JJordon,

Did you look under System>Numbering Plan>Emergency Number to see if 999 is set as an Emergency Number?

Is 999 an office code in their calling area?

Thanks,

TE
