HX Controllers have an ARM processor and run the Debian Linux operating system. Processing servers are Intel but they also run Debian Linux.   If you're looking for something like a Windows Registry, give up now.

We are having random phones reset periodically. This happens roughly 4 times a month and has been going on since at least first of the year. I confirmed errors logs and alarms and the cause is "/var/log/alarm.log
Oct 2 12:05:49 Mitel5000 CP[27138]: System Reset Type = 'Major Reset Due to PS-BS Lost Connection'"

So, essentially,  I am looking to extend the heartbeat timeout.
The issue is very random, it may happen at night when very little traffic on the network or sometime during the day when we have a heavier load.
And we do not experience any other network connectivity problems on the network.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Jdavis1029,

Get yourself a small non-managed layer 2 switch that has both your PS-1 and your Base 5000 connected to it. Then connect that switch to the network whether either one of the two devices was previously and see if that fixes your problem.

Thanks,

TE
