Need Some Cisco Screen Shots
« on: February 18, 2014, 09:02:52 AM »
I'm working on a document where I need some screen shots of setting a Cisco Switch port into access mode for VLAN 100.
I don't have access to a Cisco switch any longer so I need some help.

Exactly what I need is a screen shot (not text) that shows from login to showing the running config of a port (any port) already in VLAN 101 and then showing it being put into VLAN 100.

Can anyone assist with that?

Ralph

What model switch are you referring to?
Small Business/Linksys model?
I have an SF-300P and a Linksys SGE2000P if that is of any assitance.

I need something from IOS, even CatIOS would do.
For what I need I don't think Linksys will work.
Thanks.

Haven't tried it myself, but maybe this http://sourceforge.net/projects/oece/ will work?

Otherwise you could try GNS3, but then you also have to find a copy of IOS to run on it.

Thanks lundah,
I didn't think of using a simulator.
The 2 you mentioned appear to be linux based so I'm not sure I'll be able to use them but now that you've pointed me in the right direction I'll look for some other simulators.

Thanks.
Ralph
