DECT master rebooting periodically
« on: April 24, 2013, 08:53:49 AM »
Hi All, we have a DECT global system installed for several years already but suddenly master started restarting itself every few minutes.

24.04.2013-14:38:36  Error 0x000b0001 Major  CMD0 Unexpected Restart WATCHDOG (2) of 4.0.25
24.04.2013-14:36:36  Error 0x000b0001 Major  CMD0 Unexpected Restart WATCHDOG (2) of 4.0.25
24.04.2013-14:31:49  Error 0x000b0001 Major  CMD0 Unexpected Restart WATCHDOG (2) of 4.0.25
24.04.2013-14:29:01  Error 0x000b0001 Major  CMD0 Unexpected Restart WATCHDOG (2) of 4.0.25

We turned off master and but the standby master started doing the same. The versions on all the stations are following:

Version IPBS[4.0.25], Bootcode[3.0.26], Hardware[IPBS1-T3/1B]

Do you have any idea? Thanks
Petr

We have some systems working fine for years. Never had that kind of problem. Seems like a software service hang and get rebooted by the watch dog...

I don't know how many IPBS you have. Try to upgrade to IP-DECT v6... I see in release notes that some similar issues has ben resolved in v5 and v6. IPBS v1 are still supported.

We have 27 IPBS (1 master, 1 standby master and 25 slaves). Yes, finally I upgraded all the IPBS to 6.0.11 and it seems the problem diasapeared. Thank you.
