Configs
« on: December 02, 2012, 03:55:26 PM »
Hi All.

I'm after saving myself some work here (I'm an IT fellow you know we hate working  ;D )

Does anyone have a config sheet, (paper or excel) they could mail to me that works well? I'm hoping to leave it on site with the system so the engineers can see quickly what is installed/setup.

Thanks in advance

John

If someone has this I would be interested in a copy too... it seems to me Inter-Tel has a data collection spreadsheet years ago but I haven't seen it in a long time. We have been using a hacked version of one we use for the 3300 but it is not the best for the 5000 (and to be honest, it's not really good for the 3300 either but it's better than nothing).

Here are a couple of forms I use for documenting installations; Axxess and 5000.

One is for the network numbering plan, showing IP info and scheduled resets / back-ups.

The Run Book is for the individual site, with a couple of sample flow charts included. I use it as a living document, documenting MAC work as it’s completed.
