Captcha Sucks!!!

Anyone else have a terrible time with the Captcha here? I usually have to enter it at least 3 times before I get it correct and often have to request another image, rarely have that issue at other sites but it seems like almost everytime I have to give it several tries here.

I also just decided to reduce the number of messages you must post before you no longer need verification.
I've lowered it to 5.

It's unfortunate that I have to use it, but without it I get so much spam that I can't keep up with it.
10 messages pretty much kept the spam clear.  We'll see how 5 works.

too funny.. I was just about to pot the same question, as I have to enter the captia thing about 3-5 times as well.
on some other forums, they get around this by making new users posts needing to be approved by a mod... but after 5 posts, no more needing to be approved... works well when you have alotta mods I guess...  oh well.. nice to know that we can get around that once we've been members for a few days with some posts under our belts...
