Atos Bans Email Between Employees

Here's something that caught my eye.
A tech company has banned all email between employees.

Here's a quote:

In line with its Well Being at Work Programme launched in 2009 to support its goal of being one of the best places to work, it has implemented a number of initiatives to improve communication and information sharing across its organization.

Just think, one of the best places to work means you don't get emals from your boss asking for project updates.

You could look at it as a way to not be able to ignore people. Not always a good thing.

I do think it is a pretty good idea though.
