Job Summary
We are looking to expand our technical support staff with individuals who have a good working knowledge of both voice and data communications. While this ad may be listed under a specific city, we are looking to add one or more individuals in each of the following cities:
Terre Haute, IN
Indianapolis, IN
Fort Wayne, IN
In addition, we are looking to fill a position where the technician could work over the phone remotely from anywhere in the United States via Teleworker to support customer requests as an inside technical support representative.
Job Responsibilities
•Program, install, move and modify telecommunications and related equipment according to job order specifications, company standards and procedures.
•Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, such as dial tone trouble, down T-1 and PRI circuits, inoperable phones, voice mail and data equipment.
•Maintain and repair telecommunications systems and equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and specifications.
•Install, terminate and test infrastructure wiring to include but not limited to Category 5E, Category 6, Coaxial and fiber optic cable.
•Complete ongoing training in Key, PBX and VoIP systems as well as other related voice and data systems and services.
•Review carrier cut sheets for accuracy prior to install implementation.
Education and Requirements
•5+ years field experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Mitel MCD 3300, Mitel 5000, Avaya IP Office or equivalent Key and/or PBX systems.
•3+ years demonstrated experience in LAN Design and implementation.
•3+ years field experience in configuring Auto-Attendant, Voicemail, Unified Messaging, and Call Recording applications.
•5+ years prior experience with installation and termination of Cat5E, Cat6, Fiber Optics.
•Demonstrated understanding of QoS, Vlan, SIP, T1, PRI, and MPLS technologies.
•CTP (Converged Technology Professional) certification or equivalent.
•Extensive knowledge in either: network engineering/ IT management, or Telecommunications.
•Extensive knowledge of router and network switch programming and troubleshooting.
•Candidate must have a professional appearance, personal hygiene, and attitude.
•Candidate must possess a clean driving record.

Pay scale ranges from $20.00-$30.00 per hour depending on knowledge.
