On this phone set, the prime number is 1000.  When setting up a key with extension 2000 as a multiline or single line and selecting that key to make a call, the destination phone displays 1000 on the caller ID.

How can it be set up so that the caller ID shows the number of the multiline/single line and not the prime number?

I've tried all the settings in the COS for 1000 and 2000.  No luck.

OK, I'm doing this from memory so please forgive my lack of detail.
There is a COS option that allows you to show the caller ID of the line being used.
I don't remember the exact wording but it should be pretty easy to spot.

Hello Ralph,
Thank you. I've followed these from the ESM Help but it still calls as the prime DN using the multi-call key when I call another extension.

========================
Class of Service Options form

Enable ANI/DNIS/ISDN Calling/Called Number or ANI/ISDN Calling Number Only to display calling line identification for all calls on prime directory numbers and incoming calls on non-prime directory numbers

Enable Display Caller ID on Multicall/Keylines to display calling line identification for outgoing calls on non-prime directory numbers.

Set the Display Caller ID on Multicall/Keylines Timer to define the length of time that the Calling Line ID is displayed when a call is waiting on a non-prime line.

Enable the Privacy Released option to allow any other set user in the same key system group to enter a conversation that is in progress on a key line.

Enable the Display DNIS on Key Label option to display DNIS instead of call party ID information (the default) on float key labels.

I don't think I read your question carefully enough.
I don't think that internal calls will display anything other than the prime line.
